π Day 2: Colombo β Dambulla β Sigiriya
After breakfast, drive towards the Cultural Triangle. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple β a UNESCO World Heritage Site with magnificent Buddha statues and murals. Continue to Sigiriya. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
πͺ¨ Day 3: Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Village Tour
Climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as Lion Rock, offering breathtaking views and ancient frescoes. Later, enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan village tour with bullock cart ride, canoe trip, and local cooking experience. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
π― Day 4: Sigiriya β Kandy
After breakfast, proceed to Kandy. En route, visit the Spice Garden at Matale. In Kandy, explore the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, and witness a cultural dance performance in the evening. Overnight stay in Kandy.
π Day 5: Kandy β Nuwara Eliya
Travel through picturesque tea plantations to Nuwara Eliya, also called "Little England." Visit a tea factory, Hakgala Botanical Garden, and Gregory Lake. Evening leisure walk around the charming colonial town. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
π Day 6: Nuwara Eliya β Yala
After breakfast, drive to Yala. Upon arrival, check-in and head out for an exciting jeep safari in Yala National Park β home to elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of bird species. Overnight stay in Yala.
ποΈ Day 7: Yala β Bentota
Proceed to the beach town of Bentota. Relax at the beach resort or enjoy water sports like jet skiing, banana rides, and parasailing. Visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery or take an optional Madu River boat safari. Overnight stay in Bentota.
